Do your feet hurt? Maybe it’s a constant ache or maybe one morning you stepped out of bed and felt a jolt of pain in your heel.
Not only is foot pain a literal pain, but it can lead to larger systemic issues in the body. We rely on our feet to set the base for what our entire body experiences. I’ve taught Pilates for over 10 years, and I see the same pattern again and again. If someone has a problem with their feet, they likely have problems higher up the body in their knees, hips, or low back. So, we definitely want to keep our feet happy, flexible, and pain-free.
A lot of the foot conditions and pain that individuals are dealing with now are due to the fact that we wear shoes that are too tight and ill-formed for our feet. They may be cute, but they are not foot-shaped. As a result our toes are crammed into tiny spaces and things like hammertoes, bunions, and plantar fasciitis follow after.
So what can you do about this? One easy lifestyle adjustment that you can make (that doesn’t require you to give up your shoe collection) is to wear Happy Feet Socks when you’re resting. Use the promo code CASSC12 to take 12% off your order!
I wear Happy Feet Socks nearly every night when I go to bed. The socks are gentle toe spreaders that help ease tension in your feet while you sleep. They are great after a day where you walked a lot.
Happy Feet Socks take some adjustment. You can wear them for shorter amounts of time at first. You can also keep the toe loops higher up toward the top of your toes. Over time, you will be able to wear them for longer stretches.
I love these socks so much that I keep a second pair in the glove compartment in the car for long car rides when I’m the passenger. Nothing says vacation better than relaxed and happy feet!
